Recent News from School

Days at school are always interesting for me... :) lately I've been kinda busy preparing 50 questions of multiple choice for mid-term test. while typing the questions I say a little prayer that my students can answer all the questions.. hahaha.. I know maybe some of them might find it difficult coz they ever told me that they didn't really like English -- but they dont hate-- so I do really hope that at least only few of them take remedial test or if it's possible then none will do remedial test.

by the way, my application to Supertmath had been confirmed and after having gone through certain stages of selection, by the grace of the LORD I was selected. But, it doesn't stop at this part coz what really makes me glad is that my best friend--Mawar--was also successful. now both of us work together in the afternoon as English instructors in Supermath. it really pleases me since we ever did the same test and I was alone selected, though finally I decided not continuing the next selecting stage. Now I know that it might have been the best decision I took.. :)

back to school-- beside these 50 questions I have another 'homework' that is to prepare my kids for their drama performance in my Active English class. it is quite challenging for me since they have no time to prepare themselves. They need to take a preparation course for national exam after school so they are all tired after the course. They told me that they cant meet after school to prepare the drama. hmm..now I know that being a teacher isn't easy.. LOL.. then what am I supposed to do?! the answer is I need to find the best solution for this problem. I need to talk with them, discussing their weekend and if' it's possible, we may practise their drama on weekends. I hope there's no more complaint about time.

still about school, I've seen lately the behavior from my kids--the ones I supervise--that they show a much better change!!!! Thank God!!! I love knowing this fact. They dont use mobile on class, they do homework--even the teacher who ever complained talked to me that some of them who used to be lazy have become more diligent. I know it's not me who changes them but God Himself as I often mention their names in my night prayer or anytime I remember them I always pray. This shows the power of prayer that when you can do nothing the unceasing prayer can. Teacher you should try!!! :)

yeah..that's all the recent news from me..hope I'm gonna have a great weekend by having great classes at course and Supertmath and making my mid-term test questions done soon.. see ya!!!

  1. ha ha ha, honestly, if you and the world can understand 'Filipino', I will never try to speak English here in blogger ever again.. ~(a_a~)

You're a good teacher.. at least you allow remedials, not like some people I know over here.. they wouldn't even give us special exams or excuse us for being absent when fortuitous events happen.. tsk. :)

  2. hahaha..my students are funny..they're all amazing.
remedial test is given to those whose scores havent reached the target from school, that is 75 for English. so if they get 70 or 60 they also have to take a remedial test.
i'm learning to be a good teacher and I hope I can be.. :)
    thanks Jen..
