"Evening"

Gambar
Say I am crazy but I just fell in love with this actor... Patrick Wilson I ever watched several movies he starred but I don't know why I just got snared when I watched 'Evening' . He was so cool in that movie with his lovely eyes.. I don't know for sure why I got fallin' to that movie because I don't think that it was really WOW but perhaps the director and the story writer (the movie was adapted from a novel with the same name) were successful in transferring the soul or feeling from the book into the scenes. Moreover, the settings are also wonderful with beautiful beach, boat, trees, cottage, all are beautiful. They might be the trigger I fell in love, except the fact that Patrick is worth-admiring!!! hehehe Anyway, Patrick Wilson played as Harris-a doctor whose enchantment has attracted two girls. I think the director was a genius for picking Wilson as Harris coz I found him very fitted to the image of Harris. You can find no reason not to admiri

Holly Spirit, A Good Reminder

Gambar
Do you know that you have a good reminder that lives in you? If you don't know, let me tell you who He is.. He is Holly Spirit. John 14:26 But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said to you. I had a great experience with Him yeaterday. It was actually my most embarrassing moment so lets say that this post is my testimony but also my sin confession. :') I was very happy as my boyfriend came to Kupang with his family so I went to visit them. We both had planned to hang out yesterday so he came to my house to pick me up. Yet, when I just wanted to go out, the deacon came and told us that the fellowship was at our house. My dad was not at home coz he had to lead the fellowship in other house while my mom was going to a relative meeting. We were only 3 persons at home, me (who just wanted to hang out), Monna and Eka. Well, I didn't even think about s

The Unknown Errors in Our Lives

Gambar
Do you like reading novels that are related to cultural issue?? If yes, you MUST read this one- The Unknown Errors of Our Lives by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. This book is great.. It is a compilation of 9 shorts stories telling about the issue of India-American culture. I love the way the writer describes the cultural gaps, family ties and its problems and most of all, the way she presents the female characters as the main character of each story. All stories are interesting and each woman in this story has a very strong character in all their thoughts but one that has stolen my all intention is Mrs. Duta in the first story of this book-- Mrs. Duta wrote a letter (Nyonya Duta Menulis Surat). It's very touching. When I read it I could see myself as though I were a 75 year old grandma who is trying to hide the pain of being a burden to my family. The writer is very successful in making this character so alive in me. I can even feel her heart as it is myself. Reading this sto
