The 2012 National Exam at Givans

It's been almost a week after National Exam for senior high school students. A year preparation for 4 day examination sounds crazy yet it was very relieved when the bell rang at 01.00p.m. on Thursday. All students yelled up to pour out their tension. They were all happy though still they wonder about the result.

The previous setting was what I saw in Giovanni Catholic Senior High School Kupang when I supervised the exam in Giovanni. I was happy when they said I would supervise there coz the school was my former high school. Going back there not as a student but as a teacher made me feel kinda weird. Why? Because I was there, talking with all my teachers (those who had contributed for my success) as a teacher not as their student. It made me feel awkward but so proud of being a teacher.

The national exam held for 4 days and we supervised with teachers from Muhamadiah. It was really fun knowing them all. My partner was Mrs. Djamila. She was a senior teacher in Biology. We supervised different classes each session and day. But almost all classes that we supervised were Science class, only the last session of the last day we supervised IPS or Social Science class. I missed the chance to take a picture with Mrs. Djamila (---I hope I would meet her again) because we were busy with students 'LJK' (computer answer sheet) as we had to make sure that they filled their bio-data and all items in that sheet correctly.
I only got a chance to capture one moment when they were working on Math. They looked so serious :D. here are the pictures

The exam was over but it wasn't the end of all coz 4 weeks later, on 26th May they will get the result of their 3 year struggle in high school. After that they will begin their new chapter in university. As teacher I can only pray for their success as we all have done our part very well so lets surrender all to God.

"Hot Blooded Woman" Well, I just finished reading a manhwa (Korean manga) that has really stolen all my attention. i ever read it some years ago when i just entered university. Recently i have been curious again with this manhwa so i decided to download it. this manhwa is very amusing.. i bet ypu will laugh loudly like a crazy one and forget all the pain when you read this story.. so just try! After reading, a crazy idea came to my mind; what if this manhwa was made into a drama, who would star it? so, here is my own consideration who is more suitable to play the characters of "Hot blooded woman"; 1. the main character Park Sin Uoo would be very perfect for Lee Min Hoo. i ever thought of Kim Hyun Joong but later i made up my mind as Kim Hyun Joong would be better playing as an angel.. yup, he's not suitable for being Sin Uoo.. :)   2. Kang Ha Ji would be suitable for Moon Geun Young. I felt kinda difficult to find a korean actress for Ha Ji as this gi

When God says 'Not Yet' (again)

 Surrender.. this is the only word that best describes my feeling today. The disappointment might have taken place yesterday but today God has turned it into surrender. I got a new email yesterday from the New Zealand embassy telling me that my scholarship application was not accepted yet. Here's the mail... Easter (7 words on the cross)

Today the Christians all over the world celebrate the most important day of our faith story ever after. Why i say it’s the most important  day? Coz i cannot imagine if Christ did not substitute me and you, we can surely know where we’re going today.. “ETERNAL DEATH” i can say it for sure... Praise God MY LORD did it for me, for you and all of us not when we know HIM yet when we were in the darkness..when we were still captivated by this world, HE came and sacrificed HIS LIFE just to set me and you free. So, in this remarkable day i wanna share a little bit what i’ve learnt during the 7 weeks of passion until today. The great lessons i learn are from the 7 words of Jesus on the cross and the greatest redemption He did on the cross. The seven words on the cross I would never ever imagine if i were in Christ position, hanging on the cross, tortured, got mocked by the rulers, what would be the best words i say if i were hanging on the cross?
