The Waiting and Surprise
People say that time runs swiftly but i dont think it runs coz I feel like it blows as the wind does..
I dont ever count the days that's why I am very surprised when I look at the calender and see the date today and it's 26 October. it mens that October is almost gone and November is coming soon which means that December is to follow..
There are some special things on December that makes me look forward to this month. the first thing is it's Christmas, meaning that my sister is coming home and we're gonna celebrate it together. the second one is that I am gonna get the notification letter from the scholarship I applied on July. It's really important for me since there are two other tests I need to get through before going to Macquarie University--the University where I am gonna study in. if God's will then I am gonna go there, struggling for my master of teaching.
so, the weeks before December are truly the waiting days full of hope and faith. I am waiting faithfully that God knows the best for me His little daughter, yes he knows the best that's why whatever happens in my life I totally believe that He's still in the fullest control of all...
Anyway, I've been focusing on my kids.. only God knows how they've stolen my intention. lately they've driven me crazy for several things such as playing truant in Gymnastic class and not completing math homework so that they had to write down statements signed by them and me as their supervisor that they wont ever forget doing homework and skipping any class. Beside that I had to be a little bit sad knowing that many students failed to get the standard score in English so I gave them remedial test. Hiks hiks...my heart was crying when I corrected their worksheet but Thank God they had done their best in remedial test. :)
Despite those blue days, a very simple moment could eventually make me smile. It happened when I taught afternoon class in Supermath this Monday. one of my kids, her name is Hetty suddenly asked me to close my eyes and to point my pointer before her. she didn't tell me anything, just aksed me to do her instruction. I did what she said and when she asked me to open my eyes, I found an Eifel keychain hanging on my pointer. the colour is silver and it's so beautiful. I was touched.. happiness and touching collided. What a moment!
I thanked her and teased her a little bit that one day if I went to Paris i would take a picture of myself standing under the Eifel tower holding the key chain she gave me.
yup..those are the days which I have been facing lately.. I dont know what kind of surprise is coming over.. I am still waiting as I always am.. Tomorrow, who knows about it.. no one but time itself and the Holder of it..
Ecclesiastes 9:11-12:

Ecclesiastes 9:11-12:
I returned and saw under the sun that the race [is] not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happens to them all.
For man also does not know his time; as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so [are] the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly on them.
