What was the last question you could answer successfully lately? Have you ever thought of what you would answer God when He inquired you? This is actually what Job faced when God questioned him with a lot of questions. The questions were actually the hardest questions in this world as they will never be answered by man's understanding. God began His questions by asking Job to teach Him: Who [is] this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge? Now gird up your loins like a man; for I will ask of you, and you teach Me. Job 38:2-3 And the very first question started with the basic question: Job 38:4 Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell if you have understanding! If I were Job I must have been very confused as how could I explain in my limited ways of thinking to answer the Unlimited in all? Nothing I could answer. What a wonderful day He has made!!! I've been so blessed having Jesus as my Lord and savior. When I feel weary He gives me strength. When heaps of burden weigh me down, His mighty Hands lift me up. He indeed spoke to me tonight to strengthen me from the book of Hebrew chapter 11; 11:1 Now faith is [the] substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 11:3 By faith we understand that] the ages were] framed by a word of God, so that the things being seen not to have come into being out of the things that appear. 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [Him], for he who comes to God must believe that He is and [that] He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Syalomm... Tonight I finally decide to share my boring testimony. Actually I was inspired by one of the blogs that I follow--  Get Joy --. thank God for such a touching post she shared. sometimes I also feel the same. I don't testify very often. I only share testimony when I feel I want to. But I've just been reminded to share anything, including the things that I think might bore those who read or listen. It's not about what I share but what God can do through my testimony.   And here's mine.. I was born in a Christian family, raised by godly parents who had taught me how to pray since I was learning to talk. Psalm 121  (A Song of degrees.) I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where shall my help come from?  My help [comes] from the LORD, who made Heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. Today when I am confused with life and some facts which are out of my wishes God reminds me something which is soooo romantic —that’s what I feel.. why? Coz He speaks to me when it’s raining.. yup it’ raining now and the weather is soooo nice. I feel fresh inside and outside. It melts out all the anxiety. Yes, God will never leave me. He proves it to me everyday. Whenever I feel like I am so lonely and tired He strengthens me through my friends. Do you measure the kindness of the LORD through your success and failure??? if yes, then you have to read this post.. This evening I went to visit the family of my friend who had passed away. As Christian we always have a comforting fellowship in the funeral home.. the servant of God shared the Word of God and what really touches me is when he said 'do not measure the kindness of the LORD through success and failure coz you will never ever understand. (Today’s lesson from 2 Corinthians 6 and the book of Ester) Today I learn something “amazing” about how God works through our prayer. It is written in 2 Cor 6:12 that God dwells among us..inside us as we are he temple of the living GOD. Can you imagine Haniva??? If God is living in you how cant He know all the things in your heart before you speak it out? ............and tonight, once again, I'm curious about a tree. >.< on the first week of June I posted on my blog about a tree called "Elah" and this time God still teaches me from a tree called "cedar".  cedar tree I went to a prayer fellowship this afternoon and the preacher shared from Psalm 104, it's about the might of God in His creation. I was totally engrossed when I read verse 16: 104:16 The trees of the LORD [are] full, the cedars of Lebanon which He has planted; the cedars of Lebanon have caught my attention. yesterday i was thinking about the verse related to cedar so i tried to find in my bible but i couldn't find.Thank God i've found it tonight.. well, I remember Cedar for two verses in psalm. the first one has been mentioned above and the other one in   Psalm 92:12: The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Friede....Shalom...Peace everyone! It's been such a lovely day when Holy Spirit is poured out on the church. so, today i wanna share a little bit about Pentecost and some points I learnt today from the sermon of my pastor from Acts 2:1-13. The day when Holy Spirit is poured down is called Pentecost. the day of Pentecost itself actually was a Jewish feast held fifty days after Passover.  It was a time to celebrate the firstfruits of the harvest. so it was a great and wonderful celebration coz it also commemorated the day when the Law was given to Israel (Guzik Commentary on Acts 2). This great moment started by "together", when all believers were in one place ( Acts 2:1 Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place). the word "together" shows that they were gathered together sharing the same heart, the same love for God, the same trust in His promise, and the same geography...

the Valley of Elah  Every day we are in the battle field.. whether you realize or not but it's true. you face the day, struggle for your dream, try to strike your own selfishness or laziness..you face these situations every day.. that's actually what I call "a battle". Talking about battle, actually there's something God taught me yesterday accidentally from the name of a tree. yesterday i posted a poem and put a picture of tree on that post. I looked for some pictures but couldn't find the right one till I remembered a name of a tree on the bible. this tree is mentioned many times in the old testament. This tree in my language is quite funny coz its pronunciation is quite similar to the word "terbanting" or in English "slammed". Yes, the tree's name is "pohon Tarbantin" (Elah). I'm gonna lead the sharing tomorrow and this time we've been already discussing chapter 2 of 1 Peter. I still remember some points in the first chapter of this letter written by apostle peter. This letter was mainly addressed to the gentiles (non-Jews Christian). It is precisely mentioned in 1 peter 2:9-10 “ 2:9 But you [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for possession, so that you might speak of the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 2:10 [you] who then were not a people, but now the people of God, those not pitied [then], but now pitied. ” The expressions “called out of darkness into His (Jesus) marvelous light (the last part of verse 9) and “not people but now the people of God” have established that the reason to be the chosen generation is mainly based on Christ, our faith to Jesus that’s why we--who are not Jews-- can still be the heirs and heiress of God’s promi...

This evening we discussed a great topic in Sunday school servant's fellowship. it's about the two famous sisters; Martha and Mary, the sisters of Lazarus. this story is quite popular for our Sunday school kids coz it has a song about this story and the kids love singing the song. I'm not going to teach you its song but wanna share what i and my friends learn from the story in Luke 10: 38-42. it happened when Jesus and his disciples entered into a certain village namely Bethany. there Martha received Him into her house. Martha had a sister called Mary. when Jesus taught, Mary sat at Jesus feet and listened to His Word while Martha chose to be busy with serving. seeing that Mary was only sitting and listening to Jesus and was not caring about serving, Martha came to Jesus and asked Him to tell Mary help her. but Jesus chastened her that she had been careful and troubled about many things but one thing is needful and Mary had chosen that good part which shall not be taken...

I just realized that it's the first day of May..time runs swiftly till none realizes its plot (hehehe it's too subjective coz maybe I'm the only one who does not realize it :p ) lets start a new chapter with fresh words from the source of  peace. I've been so weary and disappointed with somebody today, almost the whole day i felt that way till God spoke to me through His servant in evening service.  actually i woke up late today and could not go to morning service in my church so i decided to go to other church, quite far from my house and i thought that i would be too late but Thank God, He knew my desire and took me "in time" in that church. i believe that God knows my struggle, it's all about my emotion so He used the pastor in that church to share about disappointment.. Today the Christians all over the world celebrate the most important day of our faith story ever after. Why i say it’s the most important  day? Coz i cannot imagine if Christ did not substitute me and you, we can surely know where we’re going today.. “ETERNAL DEATH” i can say it for sure... Praise God MY LORD did it for me, for you and all of us not when we know HIM yet when we were in the darkness..when we were still captivated by this world, HE came and sacrificed HIS LIFE just to set me and you free. So, in this remarkable day i wanna share a little bit what i’ve learnt during the 7 weeks of passion until today. The great lessons i learn are from the 7 words of Jesus on the cross and the greatest redemption He did on the cross. The seven words on the cross I would never ever imagine if i were in Christ position, hanging on the cross, tortured, got mocked by the rulers, what would be the best words i say if i were hanging on the cross? I know for sure, cursing... however The...
