  Distance... I hate it but I have been such an expert in holding on it. I heard some people say long distance relationship never works. I know for some people it is not working but I have been struggling for it. I cant say it's different to me. I hate it... I hate to have distance in my relationship but I have no choice.. I can say good bye.. it's easy. But can my heart bear it? I am too afraid of losing. So, I choose to stay in distance though the pain of missing is the same with breaking. If getting hurt is part of love, why don't we enjoy the time of sorrow?! Sometimes we laugh but we will never skip tears. As it is still a life on earth, I know everything can happen under the sky. Shall I dance under the rain?? Probably Yes coz I have made my own choice... Staying.. Distance.. I hold you again and again.... Give me enough joy but less tears coz I wanna keep some of them for happiness..

Selamat malam... Rasanya sudah hampir setahun saya mengijinkan 'kebekuan' mengisi ruang tempat saya berbagi. Malam ini saya tiba-tiba tergerak untuk log in dan dua penggerak utamanya lagu "Sepasang Mata Bola" yang tadi sempat diputar di “Mata Najwa” mengahdirkan Presiden ke 3 RI bapak B.J Habibie, yang adalah penggerak kedua.. lol Lagu yang diciptakan oleh Ismail Marzuki ini terakhir kali saya dengar dari adik bungsu saya sewaktu ujian praktek seni. Dia menyanyikannya hampir setiap hari. Dan anehnya setiap kali dia menyanyikannya hati saya selalu bergetar. Saya percaya hati kita tidak sembarangan bergetar untuk semua lagu karena selalu ada lagu-lagu tertentu yang dapat menyentuh kalbu, salah satunya “Sepasang Mata Bola”. Mengapa saya tersentuh? Entahlah… Tapi tadi sewaktu menonton Mata Najwa barulah saya sadari kalau getaran itu adalah rasa haru dan kagum terhadap perjuangan para pahlawan. After waiting quite long for my Fulbright notification, I finally got an email from the committee. I know I didn't make it since July 2013 when accidentally reading one of the successful candidate's status on Facebook. He is my Senior High school friend. So, it is not a surprise anymore when I read this email; Dear Ms. Haniva Yunita Leo, A preliminary review of your recent application for the 2014 Fulbright Ph.D Program has been now made by a panel of Indonesian and American representatives on behalf of the American Indonesian Exchange Foundation. 7 October. Raining. I have been looking forward to October 7th because there are two things I love from this day; Joseph's birthday and raining. His birthday has been such a blessed day, that's why even I have to repeat it over and over, I still love to say; "happy birthday Mr. 0710. You make 07 October always special in my life." I am thankful for this moment coz I know that you grow a day older and see how this sentimental fool can be.., when she tries to write a birthday song, when she thinks so hard to make your day, when she's getting lost in all her thoughts, when she waits a whole day to say.... "I love you" If everything has been written down why worry we say, it's you and me with a little left of sanity

Family-- There is a little fighting, a little arguing but a close bond of love always negates everything.  Terkadang saya perlu mengingatkan diri sendiri betapa bersyukurnya saya memiliki mereka berdua. Jadi tiap kali saya merasa tersakiti dengan kata-kata 'pedas' yang meremukan hati, saya hanya perlu berhenti sejenak dan bersyukur bahwa saya masih bisa dimarahi... :p Sorry for causing you too much trouble, sista!!! still love you and always :)
