A New Perspective

Gambar
Life will lead you to the unexpected ways.. I am coming back to Jedidiah after leaving it untouched for a few months. I should confess that my new work has stolen all my time and attention. Have I told you that I am not teaching anymore?! Yes, I have started my new world, leaving the classroom that has given me plenty lessons and getting trapped into the world of language research. Maybe it's not new anymore.. It's just like I am coming back to my old world. Well, in short, the news is I am coming back to language research. My new job gave me many opportunities to deepen my knowledge on linguistics, the major I've fallen for. One of those opportunities was attending a training for language researcher, and that's what I am going to share here. Yes, last week I went to Jakarta for the training called " Peningkatan Kompetensi Peneliti Tahap II" held in Santika Hotel, Taman Mini. I was excited but nervous at the first time as I have not got my reseacher cert...

Keep on Hoping, Heart

Keep on Hoping, Heart The glimpse of me is still wanting for the outside As I am looking through the window, I wonder what may come after sorrow Maybe there’s a chance, says my heart. Yes, a way of making me reach the outside. Keep on hoping, heart. keep on hoping. Keep on walking, mind, keep on walking. One day you’ll go through the door, not through the window. That day you’ll walk there, to the outside To reach what you’ve kept in heart since the last tide. ( Kantor Bahasa NTT, March 2015)

Musim Semi (From Joseph)

Musim Semi Yunita, apa kamu sedang bersedih? Melbourne, 10 Maret 2015

"Honey" from Joseph

The sweetest thing in life is when you find yourself live in someone's dream and ideas... Honey… Enam tahun berlalu… Waktu hilang bersama debu… Kututup albummu Berharap kamu hilang Yang tersisa hanya gaung “honey” Yang tak mau pergi… Melbourne, March 8, 2015 and I'll always be the green ribbon girl waiting for you in that street corner..

Another Letter in Another Season

Another love letter in another season... nothing changes.. this heart still loves you as it did at the first time. For God is love, let us dwell in His love forever.. I love you.. Suratku yang kesekian untukmu… Sebab cinta kita adalah paradox… Dear Haniva, Apa kabarmu? Kukirimkan lagi sebuah surat untukmu, menjelang Valentine Day 2015. Sebuah mental state yang paradoksal memang…

"Malaikat Hujan"- The Rain Angel

Gambar
MalaikatHujan "The Rain Angle"- Mario F. Lawi I've almost forgot the last time I read a book that trembled my heart, it was so long... but I still remember the book, The Unknown Errors of Our Lives. The first story of that book "Nyonya Duta Menulis Surat" has always been an unforgettable story for a forgetful woman like me.. (I've stopped calling myself a girl since I turned to 26). The story is simple but very touchful, about an old grandma who found the changing of life when she moved to USA to live with her only son. However, something that makes the story special for me is that the message contained in that story has led me to my past and future. To my past, when I was thinking of the time I spent with my beloved grandma, I wondered, did she feel the same as Ny. Duta when her children and grandchildren were so busy with their own lives and ignored her? and to my future, I also wonder, will I find the same situation as gr...
